She will also conduct a workshop for BSGC in creating a Bead Crochet Snake Bracelet. Click here for more information on BSGC workshops.
Sharilyn Miller is a jewelry artist, writer and teacher who loves sharing she passion for jewelrymaking with others. She gratefully acknowledges artist Lynne Merchant for teaching her the basics of making creative jewelry with wire in September 2001. Before that she explored many other mixed-media artforms, including collage, painting and other surface-design techniques on fabric, handmade books, fiber arts, and beading. She now focuses exclusively on manipulating wire into fabulous jewelry pieces.
Ms. Miller is the author of four books: Stamp Art (1999), The Stamp Artist's Project Book (2001), Rubber Stamped Jewelry (2003), and Bead on a Wire (2005).
Ms. Miller will also conduct three workshops at Portia Mandel's Gathering Place Studio, Naperville, Illinois from 9/11-9/13 with special fees for BSGC members. Contact The Gathering Place Studio directly to see the classes and register.
