The BSGC is a great place to gather with other artists who work with beads--from lampworkers, to bead weavers, to artists who use beads instead of paint. Our meetings are not only wonderful opportunities to meet other bead enthusiasts, they are also a great place to listen to artists, educators, and jewelry designers talk about their work and the valuable information they've learned over the years.

Aside from an exciting series of lectures, members organize fun Beader's Day Out events, where you can even learn to make chainmaille. The Bead Society of Greater Chicago is a great place for novice crafters and experienced bead artists to make beautiful jewelry and socialize with lovely people. |

Members also receive a discount at a number of Chicago
area bead stores.
